#10 - wow this was one interesting part of the day - let me tell you. Yikes. So this lady calls me at quarter after 10 last night and tells me that she's from my ward and would really appreciate a ride to her Dr appointment the next day. I have NO idea who she is, but I'm Julee and can't say NO - to anyone... UGH. So - SURE, when and where? So she tells me the info and where she lives and we hang up. um - yikes. So today I call the relief society president just to see if she can give me any more info about this lady whom I'm supposed to help today. She tells me that this is an 'older' lady who doesn't drive, lives alone, and is very needy. She also tells me that she thinks that the appointment is actually for her DOG - which it wasn't - THANKFULLY! She used to be married (no idea what happened there) and has kids who live in Caldwell that have nothing to do with her - how sad. Anyway, I guess she has really worn out her visiting teacher with requests for rides all over the place and the RS president has done a lot of stuff as well - so they decided to give 'Candy' some numbers to 'other ladies' in the ward... Thanks... Turns out not that bad. She seems to be a really nice lady and didn't ask me to take her anywhere weird. I feel soo selfish -but I just really hope that I don't become her permanent chafer. But she was a nice lady - and I really wouldn't mind helping her out again.
