Ugh! I had the worst week last week! On Monday, I was going to run a quick errand to grab some things for Enrichment the next night. I got out to the car and realized that I had left my keys in the house... The car was also locked, so the kids and I had to stand outside in the cold until Bob got there with the keys to help us. Luckily we still had the garage to keep us warm and the kids were bundled up. Then, on Friday, I ran to Albertsons to get in on their awesome sale going on right now. I was talking to my sister on the phone - I got out of the car, let Braden out and then walked around the car to get Mylie out. I pulled on her door handle to find it locked. I then looked in the car and saw that all the doors were locked and my keys were sitting on the passenger seat! Luckily I still had the phone in my hand and called Bob (who, luckily, was sitting at his desk) and he was there within a few minutes. And yes, Mylie was awake and SCREAMING the entire time. I felt like such a horrible mother.
Why does this always happen to me? I guess I just get preoccupied easily. Before I was married, I locked my keys in my car so much that my sister started carrying around one of my spare car keys. Once in Rexburg, I locked myself out of our Apartment and had to sit outside on one of our patio chairs in the cold until Bob got home from a class about an hour later. I locked myself out of the house in Nampa several times before remembering to hide a spare key in our garage. I'm pretty sure that I only locked myself out of the Springs apartment once, and that time our patio door just happened to be unlocked.
Is is safe to hide keys to your house anymore?

Oh Julee it sounds like you had a crazy tough week. Maybe there is somewhere that you could hide a key for your house that nobody would think or they have these things that you can put a key in that have a code. At least you have a spare to all your vehicles and house. Our van only has one key. I might have to remedy that since I tend to be just as forgetful.
