8 Months!

Our little girl is 8 months old already!

She is still mostly sleeping through the night, but likes to remind me once in a while what it is like to get no sleep. She has her bottom two teeth and usually shows them off when she smiles (except for the pic above - of course!). She loves to play with her big brother, especially when he puts his head in her lap and lets her grab his cheeks and nose. If she sees mom or dad, she thinks that we must immediately pick her up - even if she was content with whoever was holding her or whatever she was playing with. She babbles a lot, dadadadadadada and something that sounds like Hi! are what we hear most often. She also has a girly sing-song-y noise that she makes when she is happy and playing with her toys.

Everyone comments on her chubby cheeks and her big smile.

She is still drinking 3-4 bottles a day and loves to eat baby food, Gerber's little puffs, and rice rusks. The only baby food she won't eat so far has been sweet potatoes mixed with corn. We tried juice the other day and that wasn't her favorite either.
