18 Months!

This little cutie turned 18 months old last Saturday!

She had her 18 month checkup on Monday and the Dr. said that she's tall & skinny and doing great! She is 32" tall (77th percentile), weighs 22.3 lbs (19th percentile) and still has a big head like her brother (78th percentile).

As you can see from the pic, she loves to crawl into funny places. This is a basket that we keep in the living room full of blankets - she crawled into it today with her baby to have a graham cracker snack. We often find her emptying her toy baskets to get into them or hanging out in an empty laundry basket.

She is a VERY picky eater, but she loves yogurt, cheese and chicken nuggets. She can never get enough milk and watered-down juice. She is still very dependent on her pacifiers, but we've started to take them from her more often. She loves to "talk" but doesn't actually say much yet. Her current vocabulary consists of: whatsdat?, whatsdis?, cute, wow, and mommom. She will occasionally sing a little thank you - that sounds more like "taatuu".

When she wants something, she'll come over and pat you on the leg until she has your attention. The only baby signs she consistently uses are "please" and "more". When you ask her a question, she'll shake her head no or nod a yes - and it usually makes sense.

She worships the ground Braden walks on. He pretty much feels the same towards her, except for when she wants to do everything he's doing. We hear a lot of screaming from the both of them when that happens. When they're in good moods though, they give each other the sweetest hugs and kisses. Mylie even ran crying to Braden a few days ago when she got hurt. It was so sweet.

She loves all things "girly" and princess-related already. She asks for lotion once or twice a day and expertly rubs it into her hands. Chapstick and lipgloss are a must-have whenever she sees them, but usually just licks it right off. She has a Disney Princess sing-along movie and a Barbie movie that she LOVES - she doesn't usually pay attention to the entire thing, but she definitely loves all the music. She loves to put things into purses or bags and carry them around the house. Sometimes she'll even pack her own bag of random stuff to take with her when we run errands. Cute shoes are a must and she just started pointing to her bows when I'm doing her hair.
I could obviously talk about her all day long. She is a sweetheart and we LOVE her!
