The bedroom that the kids are currently sharing is pretty small, so we decided that to conserve space - they had to have bunkbeds. Bob and I found a great set a few weeks ago and he put it together that night.

Bob put the beds together almost all by himself. Braden and I helped a bit here and there just to hold things in place and it went up quickly.
The itty bitty box with the bed slats was the heaviest box out of the four we brought home.
We also opted to have a trundle under the bed. Right now we're just using it for storage, but it'll be great if we ever need a third bed in there.
The finished product! We just love it. The wood is almost exactly the same color as our dining room table. We must love that finish!
We still had to go to our apartment to get the other twin mattress for Mylie's bed.
Braden was a little leery about being up so high at first, but once he got up there he loved it! He's also found that it can be his one safe place to play with things where his little sister can't reach them.
Mylie stayed in her crib until Bob built the guard-rail for her bed and then slept through the night the first time we moved her into the new bed. She loves her big girl bed! Once I've figured out how to make the beds we'll be taking another picture of the two of them in their new beds.
