Cupcake Pebbles

Cupcake Pebbles were included in the Post cereal sale last week at Albertsons. Braden just HAD to try them so we picked up a few boxes. Of course cupcakes mean a party - so on the back of the box are invites/games/recipes, etc for having your own Cupcake Pebbles party.

FUN. right?! Braden thought so.

So with some last minute planning, he threw a Cupcake Pebbles party tonight. He needed some friends to be there, not JUST family, so I called my good friend, Liz - who has 3 cute kids and convinced them that they would have SO much fun if they let the kids stay up a bit late tonight and came to our FUN party. She agreed, of course, and just after 7pm our party began.

Braden started off his party by showing everyone what Cupcake Pebbles are and then we each got a bowl of them with milk and got to taste them. If you haven't tried them, you are missing out. My mom commented that they taste just like an ice cream cone. Liz's husband insisted that they'd be so much better with a dollop of frosting on top (nah!).
After eating our Cupcake Pebbles, Braden and the kids, played Pin the Tail on Dino and then had everyone take the Cupcake Pebbles Pledge. I'm pretty sure it's something he made up right then, but it was pretty cute. I can't believe we didn't think to get video of it.

p.s. we did not get compensated for having this party or blogging about it, but i did only pay about 17 cents for each box of cereal - Braden couldn't have thrown a cheaper party!
