The Farmstead

We bought cheap (ish) tickets to go to The Farmstead this year as a family on the 21st of October.
We didn't have much time to spend there, so the kids didn't get to do everything they had to offer, but they did get to do a lot of fun things!

Mylie was a little apprehensive at first.

Braden headed for the Jumping Pillow right away

Then we went to the little hay-bale maze and Mylie warmed up running through the maze with her brother.

Proof that I was there and not behind the camera the entire time.

Proof that Bob was there - posing as a scarecrow.

The kids could have spent HOURS in this "Corn Box". It was huge and had lots of fun things for them to play with. I think they came home with a few pieces of corn in their shoes and pockets too.

We got to wear these cool bracelets.

We waited a bit and got to watch some pig races. Well, Braden and I did. Mylie was not at all interested, so she and her daddy went exploring.

Then Braden got to ride on the Cow Train.

Mylie thought it was very interesting, but not enough to actually ride it.
We ended the visit with some yummy dinner. Bob and Braden enjoyed some pulled pork sandwiches, I had a hamburger and Mylie actually ate her entire hotdog.
We'll definitely be back next year!
