Visited the Dr. today for my almost-38-week check up. My Dr. ended up not being there as she was called over to the hospital where my sister-in-law was giving birth to her second little boy, Corbin. (7lbs 4ozs, 19in long - and a cutie!) Congrats Dan and Kayla!
So I saw one of the midwives at the practice. She was very nice and thought I was absolutely insane for wanting to be induced on Thanksgiving day and of course couldn't make any commitments for the Dr. so I came home without an induction date. She said that the baby's heartbeat was good and that she is pretty certain that he's head down, but that he is still "really high" and I'm only dilated to a 2 - so labor probably won't start anytime soon. I made an appointment for next Tuesday - so hopefully we'll see this little guy by the end of next week!
