Bob wasn't lucky enough to wake up to a homemade breakfast this year, but he did find a cool (or so we thought) Father's Day tie hanging on the closet to wear to church. Braden pointed out before church that the tie - covered in fun words describing dads - said "uper hero" instead of "super hero" LOL. That's what I get for picking it out of the 97cent bin at Walmart. Braden gave him a card and a drink cozy that he made at school and I got him a jumbo badminton set (2 rackets & a birdie) and a rotating belgian waffle maker. He also got a card from us that I made at tinyprints.com that has pictures of him and the kids on it.
At church, they got cookies and milk in Elders Quorum and also got to take a baggie of cookies home. How fun! Braden also made Bob another gift in Primary, a framed picture of himself.
That evening we had dinner at my parents house. Bob requested a Texas Roadhouse meal - so we had: Steak, mashed red potatoes with some of the skins left in and rolls & honey butter. I also made a snickers salad and Stephanie and Clinton made some Peach Lemonade. It was all very tasty!
Bob was also able to talk on the phone with his dad before dinner and he really enjoyed it.
After dinner, the kids wanted to go to the park, so he headed there with them and took mom's camera to play with. One of the kids must have taken the picture above.
I am so grateful to have Bob in my life and to have him as the father of my beautiful children. He is the most amazing man and can accomplish anything he sets his mind out to do. We are soo grateful for him!
