Cookie Exchange

We kept the exchange small this year and everyone seemed to have a great time.  I made some chocolate candy cane kiss cookies that I found on ourbestbites.com.  Mom and Dad brought Cranberry Hootiecreeks, Dan & Kayla brought Peanut Butter cookies, Stephanie & Clint brought Chocolate Crinkles, and Stephanie & Shane brought mini chocolate chip snowballs.  Everything was really yummy. We also had hot chocolate and milk to drink.  During the party we played the new Smurfs movie and had each family come up to the table to make 3 goodie plates to take home and share with their neighbors.  Bob and I messed up though and kept putting off on delivering our cookie plates and they got stale :(  At least they were covered up and we didn't eat them either.  I think next time it would be fun to change it up and do a chex-mix/popcorn exchange.

Cookie Exchange

We hosted our 3rd (every-other year) Cookie Exchange today. It was GREAT! All the cookes brought (and consumed) were very yummy and creative. And like usual, we forgot to take any pictures. Oops. I made peanut butter blossoms with the hershey's kisses in the center. Yum. Our house was FULL of great and fun people and they even all played a game that Bob had made up and enjoyed it (I hope!). Thanks everyone!
