St. Patty's Day

Forgot to take pics of our "Green" dinner, but did get some pics of Clark in his St. Patty's day outfit. Pretty cute even if he is all covered in drool.

For dinner we had:

• Irish Casserole (Enchiladas with green sauce)
• Leprechaun Sticks (green beans)
• Shamrock Juice (green kool-aid)
• Kiss Me Bread (Irish soda bread)

Braden helped me name everything so that even though it wasn't all actual "Irish" food - it was called something fun.

Braden also picked out our dessert, lime sherbet. He had his with Reddi-Whip and the rest of us enjoyed it in some lemon-lime soda.

St. Patrick's Day

We hosted the Irish family St. Patrick's Day dinner at our house on Tuesday night. For dinner, we had Sweet Pork Salad (a recipe I got from someone in my ward). I used this as the green dinner because the salad and the tomatillo ranch were green. I was also going to use green tortillas for the base of the salads, but couldn't find them anywhere. After dinner, the kids decorated shamrock shaped sugar cookies (made by Stephanie) with green frosting, green m&ms and green sprinkles. Then we played some games on the Wii and the kids got to play out side for a while. Lots of fun!
