Bob and I have now been married for 5 years! I can't believe it. Time just flies, yet it feels like we've always been together. It's definitely been good. Hope the next 5 years are just as wonderful.
Our anniversary landed on a beautiful friday this year. Bob was able to take the day off work, paid, yea! We did things around the house in the morning and then dropped Braden off with Grammy and Papa just after lunch. We made it to the temple for the 2:00 session. It felt soo good to be there in the middle of the day and on our anniversary. There's no better way to celebrate and anniversary than in the place where you were married, I think. After the temple, we went to St. Lukes to visit my friend, Elizabeth Neratko, who just had her 2nd baby girl the day before. We visited for a bit while I cuddled with baby Madison. Then we headed over to the Olive Garden for dinner. We got there just in time to beat the dinner rush and only had to wait about 2 minutes for a table. And we couldn't have gotten a better table, a booth in a dimly-lit corner. Wonderful, I loved it. Our waiter was wonderful, the food was amazing, and we had a really good time. After dinner, we went to the Majestic movie theater to see 'The Ultimate Gift'. Mom and Dad asked to keep Braden over night, so after the movie we just headed home. I couldn't have asked for a better evening or a more wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary. Quiet time with the man I love. Nothing better than that.
