Last weekend

We all had lots and lots of fun over the weekend at IMCK's 1st Birthday Pajama Party online crop Celebraton! I created these 2 layouts and wish I would have had time to do more. So glad I got these 2 done though and I think they turned out great!

On Saturday, Bob's sister watched Braden while Bob and I went to the temple with family and Michaela for her endowment. It was awesome to have so many people that we loved, right there in the temple with us. Mom said that now she's very ready for Nikki to get married too - so that the whole family can be together in the temple very soon. That will be a wonderful day, I'm sure.
After the temple, Bob and I went quickly to pick up Braden and then we met everyone for lunch at Chuck-A-Rama. Michaela's dad (Dan Owens) paid for the whole thing. It was fun for our families to spend time together and I think they seem to all get along really well.
Saturday night, I watched Chad and Emily's boy, Dakota, and a friend of their's little boy, Justin. Dakota is just about 2 and Justin is almost 8 months. They were so cute and Braden had a great time playing with them. Their parents came into town from Spokane to watch and Arena Football game, so I had the boys for about 5 hours. I especially loved having the baby there and could have kept him for a lot longer!
Sunday, we went to church and then straight to Mom and Dad's house afterward to celebrate Dan's birthday. He requested Steak and potatoes for dinner and Mom and Dad made them especially yummy. Then we gave Dan our gifts. We got him a Tool box and a hammer. Mom and Dad gave him some nice new sleeping bags and 6 new shirts. Steph and Clinton gave him a huge box of screws, nails and stuff - he'll love having that for his new apartment. Nikki gave him a CD case and a DVD. Grandma and Grandpa gave him a camping chair that matches one that Michaela was given for her birthday. Then we had Dan's birthday dessert - Brownies and ice cream. YUM.
Sunday night we got to attend Nikki's Seminary Graduation. It was nice and small as they've started doing it by stake now instead of the whole seminary. Nikki dressed so cute, curled her hair and smiled the whole time. She's such a good kid. She and a friend, Ben, sang the rest hymn and it was beautiful. At the end when she got her diploma, she was just beaming. After it was over, they had refreshments in another room and had Penny Key there to take lots of pictures of the graduates.
