Today was Bob's 28th birthday! We of course forgot to get out the camera (this picture is from earlier last month, coloring with chalk with Braden). I hope Bob had a great birthday. Braden and I went and ate lunch with Bob at his desk (we took Subway) and then we got out the HUGE cupcakes that I bought yesterday at Costco and handed them around the office. I also took some Wall-E birthday things that we picked up from a party store, a birthday pin, napkins, and a candle. For dinner we had Bob's mom and uncle Eric over. I made BBQ Ribs in the crockpot and fried some red potatoes. It all turned out pretty yummy. He then opened gifts from his mom (an Office Max $25 gift card and some office supplies) and his sister, Stephanie (a shirt). Then watched Spiderwick Chronicles and ate yummy ice cream.
We had his birthday dinner (a cereal and fruit bar) at my parent's house the Sunday before where he got lots of other gifts including the ones from me (2 shirts) and Braden (Wall-E party stuff). Mom and Dad gave him a pair of plaid shorts and a emergency tool kit to keep in his car. Steph and Clinton gave him an Optimus Prime transformer and Dan and Kayla gave him a Croquet set (we already had one, so he returned it and got some car cleaning supplies). He got $5 from Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, $10 from Grandma Gullans and $20 from his dad. On Monday night, we went to the Disney store to spend some of his birthday money and he picked up a plush Nemo and Flick (from Bug's Life).
