As you can see from the pictures, she is starting to sit up. She keeps herself balanced with her arms out in the air and does pretty well for about 5 minutes or so, usually. Then she'll get distracted (by Braden usually) and topple over. So cute!
It seems like she is learning and growing every day. I took her to the Dr on Wednesday and she weighs 14lbs 3ozs and is 26 inches long. She's still struggling with thrush and has a yucky rash on her bum. The Dr prescribed an ointment called "Happy Hiney" for the rash, but it doesn't seem to be doing the trick yet.
She is still VERY vocal about her wants/needs and makes the funniest faces. I wish we could catch some of them on camera, but when that flash goes off - they go away.
She hasn't been sleeping very well lately. During the day, she's started just taking SHORT naps and wakes up SEVERAL times during the night. Most nights I'm able to just pat her tummy to get her back to sleep though. I love putting her to sleep right now though, because if I catch her when she's just starting to show signs that she's tired - she'll put her arms around my neck and lay her head on my shoulder and is asleep within a minute or two. Usually she has a fist-full of my hair in one or both hands as well.
She is adorable and we are soooo LUCKY to have her in our family!
