Saturday morning, Bob and I were in charge of breakfast. Bob made pancakes and I showed everyone how to make omlettes in a bag - in boiling water. When everyone was ready for the day, they (minus me, Mylie and Jennifer) went for a hike of sorts to see the visitors center and and some old wagons.

They came back with some fun coloring/activity books for the kids and very hot and thirsty. The kids played around a bit, Mylie took a nap in the shade, I read a book (re-reading New Moon!), Steph and Shane prepped dinner.
Trevor and Jennifer fed us lunch and then we took off for the Glens Ferry city pool.
Jennifer brought this yellow floatie thing for Morgan and let us borrow it a few times. Mylie loved boucing in the water in it! Thanks Jen & Morgan!
It was a fun activity to do for all the kids to cool off and have fun in the heat. The pool was fairly nice and wasn't too crowded. There was a little kiddie pool that most of the little ones (and most of the parents at the end) hung out in. The bigger pool, had a diving board and a waterslide, but Braden wasn't brave enough for either of them. They swam for a couple of hours (and poor Lily got stung by a bee - not fun!) and then it was back to the campground (after a stop for some more ice for the coolers - it was HOT!).
When we got back, Steph and Shane fed us a yummy dinner and Bob cut up our watermelon to share with everone.

Mylie didn't want any dinner once she saw the watermelon. We knew she'd make a mess, so we got her undressed, set her on a blanket and she went to town - eating 2 whole slices. YUMMY and very sticky. So when she was done, we got out the dishwashing tub and gave her a bath in it. Morgan thought that was so funny and then helped us wash Mylie. It was very cute!
(while she was eating, Bob admitted to me that I was a fun parent, because he would have never fed Mylie watermelon that way! Too messy!)

Shane brought some fishing poles so after dinner the dads and the kids went down to the river to fish. They didn't catch anything, but they all had a great time and can't wait to try it again someday.
Bob took pictures to make this panoramic picture with our NEW camera!
Bob took pictures to make this panoramic picture with our NEW camera! That night, Stephanie got out the makings for Smores and everyone got to make some! I love to watch how everyone is different when roasting marshmallows - it's got to be one of my favorite camping activities! Then we chatted a bit and went to bed where Bob and I read our books some more (he's slowly reading the new Glen Beck book).
Sunday morning, we slept in a bit (well, I did anyway...Mylie had been restless the entire night), got up to eat breakfast and then broke camp. Trevor and Jen were the first family to leave as they had to get back in time for Trevor to teach Elder's Quorum. Steph and Shane left shortly after so they could get back to teach their classes as well. I think we left an hour after them.
We really had a great time (did I forget to mention that there were FLUSHING toilets there??) and would love to go back someday.
About the only things that I won't miss were the heat and ALL the BUGS! No mosquitoes that we noticed (thankfully), but lots of little annoying things and really huge moth/beetle like things that were very nasty looking, but only came out late at night by the lights.

I love Mylie's swimsuit, Rilynn has the same one! I want to learn to do the omlettes in a bag!
Wow! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Maybe we'll have to try out that campground someday. I love the panoramic picture. Your camera did an awesome job.
