Before dinner, Bob and his mom worked on a bit of family history that he's been wanting to do for a while now. I think they had a good time discussing their ancestors and Bob can't wait to find out more.
Our Easter dinner consisted of Ham, Seasoned Red Potatoes, a Pasta Salad, a Fruit Salad, an Olive/Pickle tray, Deviled Eggs, and Bread that the kids and I had shaped into an Easter Bunny and baked the night before. I had meant to make a Green Bean Casserole but totally forgot. Everything was delicious.
After cleaning up dinner a bit, we had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. (They had been playing in Mylie's costumes). Aren't they cute?
They came inside and inspected their found eggs and candy. Bob then had them do a scavenger hunt outside to find things pertaining to the REAL REASON for Easter. He brought them back inside to explain to them the meaning of the things they found and then we watched an Easter video on LDS.org.
For dessert, we made Raspberry Pretzel Salad with some Easter sugar cookies for the kiddos. It was a beautiful day and we were so grateful to be able to share it with family.
