4th of July Family Fun

We decided to go bowling as a family today. We went to Pinz (inside Wahooz) and had a great time! The kids loved it! Clark did great until the last few minutes and then was running all over the place. We even got to have a pizza and sodas while we bowled. Bob and I loved that we could have bumpers for the kids and then they went down when it was our turn. Pretty cool.





Afterwards we window shopped at a local furniture consignment shop (Cherry's), got a car wash and vacuum from the Metro Express car wash, and then went to Arctic Circle for milkshakes. (we got 1/2 price coupons from the firework stand)

We made and ate dinner with my parents - Pasta w/cilantro-peanut pesto & Asian Wonton Salad (recipes from ourbestbites.com). They were pretty good. I think next time I'll add grilled chicken to the pasta to mix up the flavor a bit. We also cooked hot dogs and served watermelon. Yum!
After dinner, Bob helped Dad hook up his TV and we are now watching Thor while waiting for it to get dark enough for fireworks.
