Golden Corral

Bob's dad gave us a gift card to the Golden Corral for Christmas and we were finally able to use it on the 6th.  It was so nice to have a night free from planning dinner.  The kids were great and even Clark sat in his highchair and ate whatever we put in front of him.  He also made friends with the people sitting at a table to the side of us and kept turning around to wave at them.  He never does that.  Tender mercies - he must have known that we needed a stress free evening.  I forgot to get the camera out until the end, but here are 2 cute shots of Braden and Mylie.
Mylie's favorite part of the night - cotton candy from the desert buffet.
Braden was a huge fan of the chocolate fountain and the marshmallows on sticks to dip in it.

Our 2011 Christmas Ornaments

Bob and I got this one to remember that 2011 is when we bought this house.

Braden got this because he learned how to ride his bike this summer.

Mylie picked out Ballet shoes because she loves Angelina Ballerina and calls everything with Ballet shoes on it, "Angelina Ballerina".  She also loves to dance.

Clark got this gold train mostly because I liked it, but also because this is the year he began moving - crawling & walking!

Christmas Gifts from NY

With Bob's Dad living in New York, we don't get to see him often but he sure does a great job of picking out fun gifts for us!  His package arrived a few days after Christmas, but that made it even more fun because it was like having another day of Christmas.  Look at everyone's excited faces:

Clark even hugged his toy!

Gift card to the Golden Corral!
Thanks Grandpa Irish and Nana Lesley!

Christmas Eve

We did Christmas Eve day with my parents a little different this year.  We usually go out to Christmas Eve breakfast, but our family is just getting too big for it to be fun anymore, so we chose to all meet at my parents house with something fun for breakfast to share.  I brought Creme Brulee French Toast - so amazingly yummy.  A little after breakfast, I had some crafts all ready for everyone to put together.
We made these cute snowmen - I bought one at a craft fair and then we re-created it so that we each could have one.
And then we put these cute baby Jesus ornaments together from a tutorial I found on my friend's blog here.

Letters To Santa

Braden's letter this year was a form letter:
 Dear Santa
   My name is Braden
   This year I have been: ( ) very good (x) quite good ( ) a bit naughty
What I would MOST like for Christmas this year is: Legos, I podtuch, Ds, Desply case.
because: it is mostly wate I want.
If your elves are not too busy I would also like:  bord games, big rc car, lowes kits and red tool box kits.
I promise to leave you some: Ginger Bread house on Christmas Eve.
   Merry Christmas!

Mylie wrote her own letter that was filled with 0.1 repeated.  That is the way she writes everything lately.  Bob calls it her binary language.  I asked her to tell me what it said: "Dear Santa: I would like a zhu zhu dog, a dollie, and a horsie.  I was sick.  Put presents under the tree. Love Mylie"
