Valentines

Mylie handed out these: "I need s'more friends like you" I found the bag topper on Pinterest, Bob resized it and we printed it out.  We included a heart marshmallow, a piece of a hershey's giant chocolate bar, and 2 squares of graham crackers.
Braden handed these out: "Crayon you be my valentine?" I melted the crayons a few weeks ago and Bob and Braden designed the topper and printed it out.

A few weeks before Valentine's day, I sent Bob a link to the Cake Ballers' facebook page and told him that they would be a fun v-day gift.  He didn't really mention it to me and surprised me with them after work on Valentine's day.  A few days before Valentine's day, I left a gift out for Bob on his desk - an Axe gift set in my favorite scent - Dark Temptation.  I stink at waiting to give things once I have them.
That night we had Pizza Hut for dinner and watched Lady and the Tramp as a family.  We had our Valentine's date on Saturday night.  My parents watched the kids while we went to A&W for dinner and to a cheap theater to see Sherlock Holmes 2.  Our 10th Valentine's Day!

Heart Garland

this is so wierd. Christmas is over and I'm still in the crafting mode? Yikes. Doesn't this heart garland look adorable??? I *think* I *need* to make one. I even have some pink and brown fabric lying around here somewhere, but I LOVE the idea of using old flowery pillowcases or sheets.

This would also be fun to make!

Love

Happy Valentine's Day!

I made "love" and heart shaped pink pancakes this morning for breakfast. I real treat since I NEVER make breakfast. Braden had pink milk too.

I love this guy! Next month is our 7 year anniversary and it feels like time has flown by. He is my best friend and I can't wait to spend eternity with him.

I love Braden! I love his dimples and that he still will occasionally cuddle with me. We made this Valentine's day pillowcase a few weeks ago. He's embarrased that he has a PINK pillowcase, but loves having his OWN holiday themed things in his bedroom.

I love Mylie! I love her excitement for everything. She is such a sweet baby and made the 4 year wait very worth it.
My little-est sister (Nikki) came into town last night and has volunteered to be THE babysitter for her 4 nieces and nephews tonight so that her siblings can go out for Valentine's day. She's awesome! Nikki's Valentine (Steven) is currently out of state for Basic Training. We miss him.
Tonight after dropping the kiddos off, we'll find some cheap dinner and then head to the movie theather.

Fun Valentine's project!

Check out this cute Valentine's project here. This would probably be cute made with tissue paper too! Remember those elementary school projects with crepe paper?? I think Braden and I will do this as an art project next week.
