Jumping for joy!

Finally finished this project yesterday! What a relief! It even actually turned out better than I'd anticipated, although it did take me an entire month to complete it. She ended up deciding on just using 2 albums, 1 for birth through 1st grade and the 2nd for 2nd grade through Graduation. I had to add 6 refill pages to the end of the 2nd album to have enough space, but it all worked out. I also managed to work in some of my favorite scrapbooking item, ribbon, into the project as well.
No pictures of it though. I was so excited to get the project done and out of the house, that I didn't think to take pictures until on the way home last night.
Big suprise - along with the check for what I charged her, she included a bonus of $100! Yea me! So nice, but now I know that I'm not meant for projects like this and will turn them down in the future...

Finally

got this picture scrapped. From Bob's graduation day, they had a company come in and take this picture and then ITT sent everyone a copy. The least they could do for how much we owe them now...
Got a cleaning bug today. My scrapbook room has been driving me crazy lately. So I am in the process of moving everything around. Bob helped me scoot my heavy desk over about a foot, then I moved my plastic drawers around, moved my white cupboards, then braden's little art table and drawers. Now I'm in the process of de-junking. This is going to take a long time. I think I'm just procrastinating the LAME PROJECT - what do you think? Yup, pretty sure that's what I'm doing alright.

Big Project

Yikes. I was asked about a month ago to work on an album for an older lady to give to her granddaughter. Started gathering tons of cool ideas. Was getting kind of excited about the project and the prospect for a little bit of extra spending money. Boy was I sooo off.

Spent the morning at her house yesterday. She just wants me to basically paste a bunch of this girls' schoolwork, recital programs and school pictures into 3 albums! It's a lot of stuff, but she doesn't want any embellishments. Just cardstock, adhesive, and some little journaling boxes. Yikes. Sounds simple - right? NO WAY! She then proceeded to fill my trunk with the things she wants me to put into these 3 albums. Um - there is way too much stuff I tell her. Then she asks if she needs to buy BIGGER albums then? Um, no, I think 3 12x12 albums is plenty more than I can handle - let's not buy bigger. But then she tells me to take all the stuff anyway! What???

Why do I always agree to do lame projects?

Michelle's baby, Joshua

My cousin, Michelle, had her baby last week. Tyler and Jason now have a new baby brother, Joshua. Cute kids. And so big like their daddy. I made this mini 8x8 album to showcase their new baby pics.
Pictures of the album were taken quickly before taking the album to them, so they're not very good.
